Hey babes! I’m so excited to share a few things with you today. The first is this banana leaf two-piece set from  Zaful. It’s so perfect for Spring and Summer. I’m wearing a medium but I’d highly recommend taking your measurements to compare to their size chart. I’ve ordered from Zaful many times and it never fails, I’m a different size in each item. Which I’d normally be super annoyed about BUT their clothes are so affordable (this set was only $15) and such great quality for the price. I’ll continue to order from them time and time again. Ladies they do ship from China so they take longer than most online stores but again for the price and quality, I think it’s definitely worth the lag time.

The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch
The next thing I want to share with you babes is the city girl adventure I went on while wearing this adorable matching set. In case you’re just tuning in, I’ll recap, I live in SUNNY San Diego. I emphasize SUNNY because the weather here is gorgeous most of the year! We’re lucky to have such stunning views such as the amazing flower fields located in Carlsbad (North County San Diego). These fields are breathtaking and they go on for 50 acres. That means 50 acres of lush, colorful flowers for our enjoyment and clearly all the IG pics. I will say the cost is a bit much at $18 for admission and an additional $5 for the tractor ride, which of course I opted for since I was in wedges. Despite the price, I think it’s a must do if you’re visiting San Diego between March and early May. 

Toast Gastropub
Of course, my girlfriends and I made a day of brunch & blooms. I just had to share the best brunch spot if you’re looking for something close to the flower fields. I’ll share my hidden gem with you, Toast Gastropub. This place had a bit of a wait but worth every minute. It’s a bloggers heaven, the decor was basic yet trendy and it had the cutest catchphrases like “You’re my Butter Half” on the walls. They have a large firepit right when you walk in, which is great to sip on a mimosa while waiting for your table. Now let’s talk about the food. One word, delicious! We had a coconut pistachio kanafee for the table to share. Dining Tip: If you check in to Yelp it’s FREE! You know how much I love FREE! Not to mention it was like little bites of heaven. I ordered the chilaquiles, which is my go-to dish around San Diego. I’m on a mission to find the best chilaquiles in town. Well, babes, the search is over. These were by far the best I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely be visiting this cute breakfast and brunch place again!
