My next How to Wear Two Ways (HTWTW) post is coming in hot! I’m having the most fun styling this series for you babes. I really enjoy repurposing items that I wear often and giving you all the outfit inspo whilst saving you money honey.
This week my featured item is an oversized denim jacket. If you don’t already have one scroll to the bottom of this post and buy one NOW! You will be living in this from now until forever. And sometimes you won’t even need to wear it, you can tie it around your waist or hold it (as seen in pictures 2 & 3) to make a fashion statement.
Look No. 1 This is the perfect everyday look. It’s a great transition outfit to Spring and the best thing about it is you can use all these pieces separately. You can never go wrong with basic staples in your wardrobe. I love how the neutral pallet is subtle yet makes a chic and comfortable outfit.
Now let’s take a minute to appreciate this belt bag. I’ve never been huge on trendy items but I think this is one I can get on board with. I wear this beaut with skirts, t-shirt dresses to cinche my waist or with jeans when I want to be hands free. Lastly, these white platform sneakers are everything! I’ve been wearing them on repeat. I may just have to feature them in my next HTWTW post.
Look No. 2 This is my take on a Parisian inspired look. I will admit, it may not be for everyone, but, I hope seeing how I mix colors, prints, and textures will give you some inspo to step out of your comfort zone and be unapologetically you through fashion.
I’m seriously loving the raspberry beret, velvet and all. To be honest I was a bit skeptical with this purchase at first but I found this baby on sale and figured why not spice up my accessories. I’m glad I did because she makes a statement and I’m here for it.
I decided to use a bold print in a flattering cut with a basic white tee. I mentioned before, if you are curvy like me a good trick is to tie or knot your shirt to showcase your tiny waist. You could always tuck in your shirt or wear a body suit instead. I tossed on my go to booties and of course my favorite oversized denim jacket. Again… as seen in picture 3 you don’t actually need to wear the jacket to make your outfit come to life.
