And we’re back to regular scheduled programming! Bringing you another long awaited How To Wear Two Ways (HTWTW) series. I’m sorry, I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus, but you know, quarantine hit me and I was feeling unmotivated. Not to worry, because I’m back and ready to hit the ground running.
Today, I’m sharing a classic item with a twist! We think of blazers as a traditional and classic piece of clothing but I live in California where it’s hot. Really hot! So a sleeveless blazer is a great addition to my wardrobe because it is professional, functional but most importantly perfect for warmer climate.
Look No. 1 Who knew a sleeveless blazer, a fanny pack, and platform sneakers could look so good! I know this look is a little bit unconventional but it works, and I love it. I really appreciate the versatility of this sleeveless blazer you can take it from a casual look like this to something a bit more chic or even into the professional world.
Look No. 2 Who doesn’t love an all black moment. It’s slimming, edgy and to be honest fierce. I took this blazer from casual to chic with the swap of a dress to black ripped jeans, a bodysuit, a fun headband, and classic nude block heels. I could run the world in this outfit. “Who runs the world? GIRLS!” That’s right I just quoted Queen B (Sadaly that was for you). If you wanted to take this look from everyday to the office you can easily swap out ripped jeans for black trousers to make this look work appropriate. I’d even recommend a black bodycon dress with this blazer for a date night outfit. The possibilities are endless!
