If you read my last blog post 2020 Resolutions, you’ll know a goal of mine is blog consistency. I want my readers to know when and what to expect from me and to create content with more purpose.
That leads me here, to this blog series. Twice a month I’d like to focus on one item and show you babes how to style and wear the same item two different ways. The purpose of the How to Wear Two Ways blog series is show you how items you may already have in your closet are versatile or if you don’t have the hot item you may want to think about adding it to your wardrobe. I’m all about style on a budget and what better way to save money than wearing pieces multiple times.
Have you ever heard of an old fashion rule to not wear white after Labor Day? Me too! But I hate rules and I’m here to tell you break this one. It was once faux pas to be seen wearing white in the cooler months but wearing white in the fall and winter is white hot! I’m showing you babes how I style white jeans TWO ways.
Look No. 1
A graphic tee, Chuck Taylor’s, statement leo sunnies and a pink corduroy puffer jacket to top off this stylish yet comfortable look. I love the dark components like my sunnies and sneakers with a pop of pink pulling from my tee and this adorable jacket. The white jeans really make a statement. Most of you babes likely have white jeans in your closet from spring or summer and if you don’t, shop now (links below)! You can honestly wear these all year long. You also likely have some sort of graphic tee in your closet along with a similar every day sneaker. This is a super easy but trendy look.
Look No. 2
Simple black tee, statement snakeskin booties, wide brim hat, personalized name necklace and my everyday crossbody bag. I think the hat and booties are what make this look fun and trendy. But I’m guessing most of you likely don’t have a wide brim hat. If you don’t, how dare you? I feel like I get so much use of my hat collection which seems to be growing by the second. But let’s get back to styling white jeans. We all know everyone has a black tee and with the current trend of animal print, you’ll want to pull out a pair of leopard, croc or like mine snakeskin booties. You can toss on some stud earrings or even a statement necklace. Get creative with your accessories. The focus of this outfit is the white jeans, obvi, but also the print bootie. That’s all you need, you now have yourself a stylish outfit.
