I recently visited Salt Lake City and was determined to find as many Insta-Worthy spots as possible! It’s a great way to explore a new city as most places are usually located in trendy parts of town with great food and shopping nearby. I’m excited to share my finds with you in hopes you visit and enjoy them as much as much as I do! Let’s get started.
Salt Lake City & County Building
This place is a hidden gem and #1 on my list. This building is absolutely breathtaking. Everything from the light posts, the lush landscaping, the intricate fountain, to the clock tower make this building is absolutely stunning! Who would have thought a county building could be so beautiful. I’m so happy to have stumbled across this beauty. She’s picture perfect.

Salt Lake City is for Lovers Sign
This sign is so stinking cute! Who doesn’t love a hot pink neon sign? I will say it’s located in an awkward place, just outside a parking garage, but it’s stinking cute nonetheless. Definitely a must see if you’re visiting! I’d suggest taking a significant other if you can. Or you can be a rebel like me and show some love solo.

Keep a Grateful Heart + Swings
At this location you’ll get a two for one photo op, these two locations are right next to each other in a main the courtyard of the Gateway. There is also another art mural less than 50 feet away (not featured here) but worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood. This is an interactive wall where you can write something you’re grateful for in chalk to showcase to the city. And if you’re tired from all the fun you can take a break to hydrate with some lemonade on these adorable swings. This black and white stripped awning is to die for! This location is aesthetically pleasing and will instantly elevate your Instagram feed.

Angel Wings
Located at the corner of Rio Grande and 100 S street you’ll find the most vibrant angel wings. I’ve seen many angel wing murals in my day but something about the location and color scheme that put these at the top of my list. Bonus there is a colorful walkway leading up to these wings. If you’re lucky you can get in another Insta-Worhty photo.

Temple Square
You can’t visit Salt Lake City and not visit Temple Square. The grounds themselves are lush, beautiful and quaint. You can take a stroll and enjoy the architecture of the Salt Lake Temple, Joseph Smith Memorial Building or Assembly Hall. Travel tip you can park across at the City Creek Center and do some shopping before or after your visit.

You Are Here
This art installation is sure to catch your attention! It’s powerful, large and vibrant. There are hundreds of road signs placed together and when viewed straight on they make up the words You Are Here but if you move out of focus it’s no longer visible. It’s a fun piece that made its way onto my list of Insta-Worthy photo spots in SLC.
