You can catch me in this comfy set almost any day of the week, but I like to refer to it as my Sunday uniform. I love lazy days but during the week I always have so much going on I don’t really have time to rest my body, relax my mind or treat myself. So I use Sunday as my ‘me’ day to do whatever I want and makes me happy. Which honestly isn’t much, I’m a simple woman.
First things first, sleep in. I love sleep, it’s my favorite thing to do besides shop. Since I normally wake up at 5:30am sleeping in is about 8 or 9am, but if I’m lucky I’ll hit double digits. To wake up without an alarm is seriously one of the best feelings in the world!
After my much needed beauty sleep, I’ll lounge around my place, turn Alexa on, open the window blinds and front door to bring in natural light, and get the coffee brewing. Then once I’ve worked up an appetite I’ll get around to cooking some breakfast. Lately I’ve been loving soyrizo with spinach topped with melted cheese, it’s delicious healthy and hearty. Would you guys like me to share this recipe?
Since I’m home all day and I don’t like to be completely unproductive, I’ll usually do a few things that counter act being lazy for most of the day. I’ll work on calligraphy, clean or organize, do laundry or read. Once I feel like I’ve made a positive difference in my life (usually only 1-2 hours of my day, ha) then I head back to bed to binge watch TV. I’m currently watching the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime and I’m obsessed!
The last thing I do on a Sunday is meal prep. This step is so important and really holds me accountable to eat healthy during the work week. The best part about my place is the kitchen is in clear view of the TV so I’ll put something that doesn’t need my full attention on in the background while I cook. I seriously love lazy Sunday’s. I relax, sip on coffee, meal prep, organize and binge watch TV all in my Sunday uniform.
